She creates evocative sculptural installations composed of everything from worn shoes and lost socks to broken umbrellas, discarded lottery tickets and LP records.

The Jean Shin Allbritton Art Institute Lecture is scheduled for March 23, 2011, 7 p.m., room 149, Hooper-Schaefer Fine Arts Center, Baylor University, Waco, TX. She works with recycling of materials and does installations with these collected and altered items, and will be speaking about her experience and processes.
