Commencing April 13th, Innate features art work of four Fiber students from the University of North Texas College of Visual Arts and Design. Through form and color, the work in this show draws inspiration from the artists’s connection to nature. Growing up in various natural environments, attraction to the fiber medium came as second nature. Living in an environment filled with the artificial, they aspire to return to a natural way of being through art making. These thoughts are expressed though processes including netting, weaving, watercolor, felt, and cellulose fabric.
